Metis Ireland Financial Planner – Job Description
Metis Ireland is a financial planning firm that offers our clients honest experienced financial planning advice. As our firm continues to grow an exciting opportunity has arisen for a new Financial Planner to join our Financial Planning Team in our Head Office in Limerick City.
Who should apply for this role? This role will suit someone with an interest in building long term financial plans for individuals and families. If you enjoy the analytical and technical side of financial planning advice but are NOT looking for a sales based role, the Metis Ireland Financial Planning team will give you the support, training and development needed to foster career as a financial planning professional.
Key responsibilities of this position will include:
- Interpretation of client’s information following Financial Adviser/Client meetings
- Providing solutions to meet client’s lifestyle and financial goals
- Preparation of holistic Financial Plans with the aid of financial planning software
- Support Financial Advisors in presentation of clients Financial Plans
- Production of compliant recommendation reports with a view to achieving client’s lifestyle and financial goals
- Work closely with administrators to ensure timely and accurate implementation of financial plans
- Preparation of timely, accurate information and documentation to ensure client reviews and valuations are delivered in line with agreed service schedule
- Support and develop ongoing client relationships in conjunction with Financial Advisors
Key Requirements:
- QFA and RPA Qualified
- CFP Qualification desirable but not essential
- Experience using financial planning software desirable but not essential
- A minimum of 3-5 years financial planning experience
- Commitment to continuous professional development
- Strong client focus
- Demonstrable knowledge and understanding of financial planning products, services and issues, in particular in the areas of investment, pensions and protection products and the tax implications of such products
- Relevant knowledge of the Irish regulatory framework
- Very strong communication and presentation skills
- Strong analytical, research and problem-solving skills
- A strong team player
- Effective time and caseload management capabilities
