One year on and the winter is back…!! As the bright lights of Limerick lit up the surrounding buildings, bridges and rippled along the water, our joggers started to gather for the fourteenth #MetisMorningRiverRun….

It was fantastic to see new joggers join us after thirteen #MetisMorningRiverRun and like every other month, we left St. Michael’s Rowing Club around the 7am mark, out to the Condell roundabout and back in along the River Shannon completing just over our 5k… As the sun started to rise we noticed this time we were missing one of our dedicated runners who had made the ‘last thirteen runs’ and was even acknowledged in September on his achievements. However rumor has it… he may make a return in November…!

What a wonderful October morning, 7 degrees outside with the sun rising over Limerick City.

Thank you and well done to all our joggers this morning who jumped out of bed when that alarm went off. Hope you are all still buzzing and we are delighted you kick-started your weekend with us! If you would like to join our monthly #MetisMorningRiverRun, please contact Caragh on coshea@metisireland.ie and she will add you to the mailing list. See you all next month….
