Holding the #MetisMorningRiverRun on a Wednesday morning caused plenty of confusion in Metis Ireland over the last week, plenty of reminders between us all to remember to turn up this morning!

The poem “April Showers bring May flowers” was certainly true this morning!  A short shower at the start of the run was the first time it has rained during #MetisMorningRiverRun, and considering the winter we have had we count ourselves very lucky! Thankfully it was short lived and the remainder of the run was dry and mild, the sun even made an appearance towards the end.

Thank you to Noel Marshall who came along again this morning with his BackBallers, definitely worth checking out for anyone who is active in any type of sport or activity.

Thank you to everyone who came along this morning, it was great to see some new faces, we look forward to seeing you all in May!

Best of luck to everyone taking part in the Great Limerick in two weeks time.
