Metis Ireland was established in 2014 to provide world class financial planning to our clients.
 
In 2019, J&E Davy (Davy) became a non-controlling but material shareholder of Metis Ireland further to a strategic investment. However, it has no day-to-day input in the running of the business. Metis Ireland is an independently run business.
 
We were shocked and disappointed to read the recent Central Bank findings regarding Davy and we are aware of the latest news regarding plans to pursue a sale for the group.
 
We are monitoring the situation closely and will take whatever action is appropriate to protect the interests of our clients, our team, and our business into the future.
 
Meanwhile, it is business as usual at Metis Ireland and we look forward to serving our existing and prospective clients as we have always done.
