Operations Manager
Originally from Wicklow, Susan graduated from UL with a 1:1 in HR Management in 2020, having previously qualified as a Civil and Commercial Mediator and a Project Manager. Susan joins us from Macquarie Rotorcraft where she was a Corporate Services Manager for 11 years. Susan is an accomplished business professional with significant experience, gained across several roles in both corporate and NGO sectors.
Responsibilities
As Operations Manager, Susan is responsible for overseeing and optimising the day-to-day operations of Metis Ireland. Susan will bring her key skills including strong planning and organisational ability, in-depth problem solving and HR implementation, in addition to her team working ethos to her role to deliver excellence for the team and clients.
Outside Work
Susan is pretty active in her local community. She is a member of Ennis Lions Club – spending much of her free time fundraising with them for local causes. Susan is also involved with Clare Community Bridge Centre and is secretary of Thomond Bridge Club. She also enjoys going to concerts, playing poker and gardening in her down time.
