On Tuesday 8th April, Metis Ireland will host a pensions technical seminar for Limerick based accountants.
The event takes place at the Savoy Hotel and will start at 12.30pm. Along with short presentations from Directors, Carl Widger & Karl Daly, the main speaker of the day will be Clive Slattery. Clive was formally the Principal Officer in charge of the Revenue Commissioners Financial Services (Pensions) Business Unit. He was responsible for drafting and implementing legislation dealing with the introduction of Approved Retirement Funds and Personal Retirement Savings Accounts. He produced the Revenue Pensions Manual. He established his own Consultancy Practice in 2009 providing advice on tax-related pension issues. He has lectured for the Irish Taxation Institute, National College of Ireland and the Irish Association of Pension Funds. Clive has over 20 years experience in pensions and is a Fellow of the Irish Institute of Pension Managers.
