At Metis Ireland a big part of our role is to actively listen to our clients so we can map each Metis LifePlan to our clients individual needs. So we were delighted for John McNamara, (Life Coach) to deliver a session with our team on ‘Active Listening’.

The aim of the session was to learn the difference between:

Listening – (def) give one’s attention to a sound. Or – make an effort to hear something; be alert and ready to hear something.

Active Listening – (def) is fully concentrating on what is being said rather than just passively ‘hearing’ the message of the speaker. Active listening involves listening with all senses.

It was a fantastic, thank you so much John for delivering such an engaging and interactive session.
