Investing without the Stress
We humans have an inbuilt tendency to worry about most things we do in life. If you are one of these people then don’t worry because it is natural to worry!
This is very true when it comes to investing our money. We make decisions to put money away for the long term, this can be for periods of 20 or 30 years, but what do we do from Day 1? We worry about what is going to happen to that money.
One of, if not the main task we have here at Metis Ireland is to protect investors from themselves, yes I mean you! The facts are there folks, time and time again if you leave your money alone for the long term it will beat inflation and charges. React at every bit of doomsday news you hear and you can be sure of one thing; you will cost yourself a fortune.

At Metis Ireland we spend quite a bit of time talking with our clients, teasing out their goals and aspirations and then formulating a Financial Plan truly tailored to suit your individual needs. We then spend a lot more time training them to ignore the human tendency to worry and react. The market over time will go down as well as up. Can you call it correctly? Can we call it correctly? Can anyone call it correctly? ABSOLUTELY NOT! If you are paying somebody who says they can, well, get your money back.
What we do know is that stuff happens, stuff nobody can control so don’t try to control it!
Once you have spent time with us here and formulated your plan, go home and get on with your life, Metis Ireland will do the rest (which often means making sure you stay away from things!). A well diversified portfolio given lots of thought at the outset will do the business over the long term.
